Abstract Submission Information

SWACSM General Abstract Submissions & SWACSM Expanded Abstracts for Student Research Award Competition

Students are encouraged to present their research at the 2024 SWACSM Annual Meeting. SWACSM provides opportunities for students to participate in either an oral presentation or at a poster session. All student research award candidates (expanded abstracts for oral presentation) and poster presenters (general abstracts) should submit abstracts through the International Journal of Exercise Science (IJES) Conference Proceedings website at: https://digitalcommons.wku.edu/ijesab. All abstracts will be published in IJES after the conference concludes.

Abstracts Deadlines

Expanded abstracts for the student research award competition (oral presentation) are due by 5 pm September 13, 2024.

General abstracts for poster presentation are due by 5 pm September 20, 2024.

Submission Guidelines

Please see the 2024 SWACSM abstract flyer for submission guidelines. Read the entire submission guidelines document because there are changes from previous meetings.

ALL abstracts are required to use the 2024 SWACSM abstract template. There is a NEW template for the 2024 meeting. Please do not use templates from previous SWACSM meetings.
